Yes — and that is by design. The Audit is not just an estimate. It is a conversation. Gilles walks your space with you, runs the Reveal Check in front of you, and gives you a written price before he leaves. That 45 to 60 minutes is how we make sure everything goes right on both sides.
Before anything gets loaded, Gilles runs the Reveal Check — walking your entire space and pointing out every item with real resale value out loud, in front of you. He tells you what it is worth and makes a written offer. What we buy comes directly off your service total. Nothing leaves without your knowledge and your agreement. Nothing.
A single-car garage with moderate contents usually takes 2 to 4 hours. A full basement or estate can take 5 to 8 hours. We will give you a more accurate estimate during the Audit once we see what you have.
Almost everything — furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, boxes, yard equipment, tools, clothing, and more. The main exceptions are hazardous materials: paint, propane tanks, motor oil, asbestos, and biohazard material. We will let you know during the Audit if anything falls into that category.
Pricing is volume-based — it depends on how much space your items take up in the truck. A small load starts around $150. A full truck runs $675 to $875. We give you the exact number after we see the space. No phone quotes, ever — because phone quotes are how people get surprised on the day of the job.
